Anyway, I could use some help.
I’m trying to play the game on my Steam Deck, and as another comment already mentioned, when I try to start the game I get three options: ‘game’, ‘nwjc’, and ‘nw’, but none of them work.
I installed it through the itch.io launcher because I didn’t know how else to do it.
Is there even a way to play the game on the Steam Deck?
I’ve just purchased it now and got it to run on my steamdeck fine.
- You need to install the Windows version of itch launcher not linux. You will also need to download the windows version of the game.
- You then need to add the games .exe file to steam. This will then add the game to your steam library, meaning you can play without being on desktop mode.
- You then need to have protonDB installed and add Proton experimental to the compatibility settings of the game.
Game should launch and run after that. Might not be entirely perfect as people still report crashes etc.
If you’re confused on the steps, just google how to add itch games to steamdeck. The top comments on this reddit thread is helpful.
i for some reason cant launch the game, i have installed it but when i press launch it shows me 3 categories “game , nwjc , nw” something like it and whenever i press on them it shows me that there has been an error. Im not sure if my device doesn’t work for f&h or its something else

That sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue when I first tried running it on Mac. For me, it took about 15 tries before it finally launched properly. Make sure you're right-clicking the app and selecting 'Open' instead of double-clicking - this helps bypass some of the macOS security restrictions. Also, after each failed attempt, wait a few seconds before trying again. Some users have reported that restarting their Mac helped as well. Fingers crossed it works for you soon!

Und nein, Alternativen gibt es keine: man kann es sich nicht aus dem Ausland schenken lassen (weiß ich, weil ich's zweimal ausprobiert habe!) und wo soll man ein ausländisches Bankkonto herbekommen, um seine Region zu wechseln?

Also ersten er hats auf seinem Dicord gesagt und zweitens doch das mit dem beschenken klappt ich habs mittlerweile nähmlich über den weg auf auf meinen Account bekommen. Und dein Punkt mit dem Konto ist auch nicht wirklich standhaft weil du dir online ganz einfach steam Karten für andere Länder kaufen kannst welche als Zahlungsmittel gehen.

Leute an alle die das hier lesen Orange gibt keine Steam keys mehr raus also bringt es auch nichts hier die kommentare voll zu spammen. Die einzige möglichkeit die wir deutschen jetzt noch haben ist es Leute aus anderen Ländern zu fragen ob sie uns das Spiel schenken können. Das ist zwar manchmal verbugt und klappt auch nicht bei allen Ländern aber wenn ihr das Spiel wollt dann müsst ihr halt probieren.

The Game is banned in Germany and isn't distributed on steam, that is probably why people are asking for steam keys.
