Hello I hope you can help me, I've downloaded it for linux, and upon executing the game it turned out it needs libgconf, after looking for the gconf package it turns out that most software that use it inherit that from chromium and haven't needed it in years, so I wanted to ask if it is necessary for the game to work because at least on arch the process of installing gconf is very convoluted and kinda confusing.
I, being English (UK) and using windows, did not know so many had problems running the game. The only times i ran into region locking was when running several unofficial translations for Japanese games. (Japan and China love region locking games) I always get original releases cuz I hate steam Forcing PC users into a Monopoly where games dont exist unless they cooperate with steam (Plus, they always censor games and Visual novels)...
It's like, Watching the Titanic where Leo and Kate play a long lost brother and sister pair. Then they end up arm wrestling on the car and taking a photo together instead of the painting scene.
To run games from other countries i used an Asian Locale Emulator.
However this is a popular one that should allow a list of countries if you set up the profile for it's country of origin.
While i cannot help much with the translations, unless making a Russian Edition, if the creator can provide the raw text files, with a reversible guide on how to extract the text files that can be flipped to put them back. Would that be enough to start the process?
I can take a look at the files and see what i can come up with.
Assuming the creator does not object.
What i can do is, I do sound effects work with a studio which mainly does dubbing of videos and games, especially into other languages (They do not translate at the moment ).
As a proof on concept I can select a character route and a voice actor, then try to dub his spoken lines into audible speech.
If such a thing can gain support, i can provide a video showing the concept, and potentially consider doing so for the full game...
As ive been considering my next writing project to be a script for an animated series based on Terminus.
Hay i would like to Translate the Game into German I never did something like this befor so im not 100% sure what im doing. I am here to ask if someone can tell me what i need to Translate in the files.
And maybe someone that is interessted in helping me with the complete Translation.

Hab jetzt mal die dateien von der Portugisischen übersetzung überflogen .... hätte ich eigentlich schon lange mal machen sollen dann wäre ich jetzt schon weiter. @Silv3rs sehe ich dass richtig das die ersten 2 files Actors und Animations nix zum verändern drin haben? Nur wenn du lust und zeit hast sie mal zu überfliegen :)
Jo, ich denke mal du machst das ganze an nem Windows-Gerät? Ich arbeite momentan an einer deutschen Übersetzung zum zweiten Teil Termina, das kostenlose Programm Translator++ ist dafür perfekt. Du wählst den Dateipfad vom Spiel aus, bekommst alle Texte rausgesucht und kannst das ganze mit einem einzigen Klick in eine teilbare Mod umwandeln.
Auf dem offiziellen Discord gibt es noch einige weitere, die in die verschiedensten Sprachen übersetzen, da findest du am besten Hilfe oder Antworten :)

bei animations sieht es für mich auf den ersten blick wirklich so aus
bei actors bin ich mir nicht sicher, ob die names, (stehen relativ weit hinten in den Zeilen) irgendwo angezeigt werden.
Als Bsp in der ersten Zeile:
