(Personal opinion) It is getting anoying with all the germans and their steam keys petitions. Even if you get the game key, it is still region locked as far as I am concerned.
Just extract the zip, create a shortcut to the file named "game" and if you dont like the icon just download a .ico image and set it to the shortcut you just created. If you think that method is too complicated just download the itch.io launcher, the game is literally a few clicks away. I just don't see any benefit from getting a steam key.
That being said, at least they are showing some kind of love to this masterpiece of a game.
Fair point, It's not the best situation for anyone. Still wanted to express my opinion and interest on what is the problematic of having the game on this site.
I understand what you mean sadly there is just nothing else we can do if we want to have it fully on steam so that we are able to easily access the game on other devices like a steam deck.

I don't know if there's a method specific to this game, but in general you might try winebottler (similar to WINE for linux) which attempts to allow you to run windows programs on a Mac. I would note that WINE is a bit glitchy at the best of times (though I expect winebottler to be better; bearing in mind funger is a tad unstable itself), and probably won't play nice with DRM. Also the website has not been updated in four years; you may still need some technical prowess to get it to even work. It's a shame that there isn't any good solution to your problem as an OS is such a fundamental thing, but good luck! You might also try wineskin to do the same thing if winebottler doesn't work, but I don't have experience with either.

Hi, I wanted to know if it is posible to configurate the game to be played with a controller. I wanted to use Olivia for a run and I cant use her chair mechanic with the controller, also would like to map in the controller things like the Map or En guarde. Is there any way to map this things to the controller? Hope to hear something ;D

On another note, the second Installment of fear and hunger really improved on everything the first game did, be it adding little animation for passive abilities like sprint or the improved animations of the combat sprite. Tho i do find it a bit unfortunate that some of the playable characters (mostly pav and caligura) have so little interaction with the others.

I've been playing the game for several months now and I adore it, but I have now recently discovered a glitch(?) where a spawning boss (such as Needles and the Mob) would spawn literally one tile behind me. While I was able to handle Needles easily, the Mob spawning right behind me rather than chasing after me as they usually do caused some serious issues- them spawning directly behind me (and presumably in front of me as I was able to successfully escape the first confrontation but despite the other two mob members not being visible i immediately got thrown back into the fight). Nothing about my PC has really changed- the game typically runs really well! But this is really bad. If it's my computer that's the problem I'll see what I can do, but I thought it would be best to let you know.
I was considering grabbing a key of a keysite, when someone told me I can purchase the game here directly and leave a comment regarding a Steam key; so that's what I did! :p

nah if you get a key, you can play it. but yeah it is annoying cause it floods the comments that are supposed to be for constructive critique.
Instead of being annoyed at all the germans trying to get a key you should be annoyed at itch.io not having a way to send private messages for this.
